WORKSHOPS: TRAP, NEUTER, RETURN (TNR) & FERAL COLONY MANAGEMENT
NEW YORK - Neighborhood Cats provides workshops in New York City and ONLINE. Workshops teach how to care for the feral and stray cats in your community and make use of the many resources available to assist you. All steps in setting up a managed colony are covered, including establishing good community relations, feeding, winter shelter, arranging veterinary care, finding recovery space, safely handling feral cats and trapping (with an emphasis on conducting a mass trapping of an entire feral cat colony at once). All workshop attendees will become TNR certified (New York City) and NYC residents will gain access to low cost spay/neuter (currently $5 per cat at the ASPCA's clinic), free traps and equipment, and expert guidance and assistance.
